DANILOVGRAD
At the bank of the River Zeta in the middle Bjelopavlici valley is located city of Danilovgrad. It got its name after its idea creator Prince Danilo. However fundaments to this little city were made first by King Nikola in 1870. Danilovgrad abounds in historic monuments among which for this city the most important is monastery Zdrebaonik. This monastery is 2km from the city and its founder is Nemanja’s son Vukan. As the surrounding mountains are over 1000 meters high Danilovgrad is able for development of winter tourism. City is well known for good marble rocks so attracts a number of artists. Famous attraction and sight is well of Glava Zete it is located in the vicinity of the city.
