Big Russian passenger ship “Maksim Gorki” spent several hours at the Port of Kotor yesterday. This rather unusual guest – huge cruiser from Russia – already visited Kotor on one occasion during this summer.Yesterday’s arrival of this 195-meters’ long boat, with its’ 25,022 tons, stands as another evidence that nautical season in Kotor was still on.

“Maksim Gorki”, which is cruising around Mediterranean, has brought 490 passengers, mostly Americans and Russians. Tourists went for a sight-seeing tour in Kotor to see cultural and historic monuments in the Old Town.
Before its visit to Boka, this Russian ship sailed to Venice, Split and Dubrovnik. During the afternoon, this cruiser sailed from Kotor in the direction of its next destination - Greece.
