Budva – First international festival of street artists, “Montenegro Busker Fest”, which had gathered 50 participants from more than 15 countries, was closed in Budva yesterday.

Director of Budva’s Tourist Organization, Jelena Radjenovic maintained that the success of this ten-day event had, by far, exceeded the initial expectations of its’ organizers.

Festival of street artists is second in the line of nine festivals which are to take place during this season at tourism’s metropolis, as a part of “Budva’s Summer” manifestation.

This year’s organizational team, which had been headed by the Municipality of Budva and local Tourist Organization, as well as “TOB Co” company, had been organized thanks to its’ largest sponsor, hotel company “HTP Budvanska rivijera”, as well as festival’s executive producer, “Copyright” company. This winning team guarantees that future festivals would also be organized in a superb manner.”

“With last nights’ performance at Petrovac, this extremely attractive festival came to an end. It had attracted attention of the tourists who are staying at Budva’s Riviera, as well as citizens themselves.

‘Montenegro Busker Fest’ opened in Budva on 11 June with performances at hotel complex ‘Slovenska plaza.’ Following that, artists have performed at Petrovac for one evening, only to return to Budva, in front of the walls of the Old Town.

Festival ended at Petrovac, with much joy for both the participants and visitors”, Radjenovic concluded.
