Visit-Montenegro.com : Third Control Shows that the Sea is Clean

Budva – Sea water in Montenegro does not pose a health hazard and is safe for swimming and recreation, third analysis of sea-water quality this year has show. The analysis had been conducted on 16 and 17 July this year.
“Analysis of the sea-water quality which had been conducted on 84 locations. Sea water at 78 locations had first class quality, while six locations had second class of water quality”, it has been stated from the public enterprise of “Morsko dobro.”
According to the statement of “Morsko dobro,” first class water quality in the region of Budva has been confirmed at beaches Buljarice, Lucice, eastern and western side of Sveti Stefan beach, Przno, Kamenovo, in Rafailovici, at beaches of hotels “The Queen of Montenegro”, company hostel “MOC” and “Belvi”, as well as at “Grdjevica” river, at beach Sveti Toma and beach “Blue Magic” at Slovenska plaza; also, at Ricardova glava beach, Mogren I and former nudist beach of "S and I Beach Life", “Escallara" and "Blue Beach" at Jaz.
In Kotor area, top-quality sea water had been confirmed at the localities of Trsteno, Stoliv, Markov rt, Prcanj, in front of "Fjord" hotel, at “Malibu” beach in Dobrota, at beaches of Sveti Matija and Sveti Stasije, as well as at beaches I and II in Perast and beach of hotel "Teuta" in Risan.
According to this analysis, top-quality of water had also been noted at Ulcinj’s Riviera: at Ada Bojana, “Borova suma” beach, as well as at sections of Velika plaza “Kitesfera”, “Copacabana”, “Evropa beach”, “Tropicana”, “Safari” and “Miami”.

At Bar’s Riviera, first class of sea water has been confirmed at “Veliki pijesak”, "Paradizo" beach at Utjeha, beaches of Topolica, Žukotrlica, Crvena plaža, Čanj and Sutomore’s beaches at “Inex-Zlatna obala” , "Tri duda" and "Centar".
In Tivat area, the best quality of sea water had been found at the beach of "Plavi horizont", at Oblatno, Krasici, Solila, Kalardovo, Kalimanj, as well as hotel beach of “Palma” and peers at Seljanovo and Opatovo.
At Herceg Novi Riviera, first class of sea water had been recorded at Kamenari, at hotel “Delfin” in Bijela, in Baosici, Kumbor, Zelenika, Meljine, as well as at beaches of “Vila Perla”, “Copas”, Corovica plaza, "Yachting Club" beach, at “Topla” hotel in Igalo, as well as at the beaches of hotel of the Institute RVI and near villa “Galeb”, analysis concludes.
