Budva – Evidence to the claim that there are those in Montenegro who are ready to buy luxurious mega-yachts, with value exceeding tens of millions of euros, as well as to claims that this part of Adriatic is turning into an attractive nautical destination, is confirmed with the opening of an official representative branch of the most important global nautical brand – CRN or Costruzioni e Riparazioni Navali in Budva. CRN is one of nine brands of Feretti Group.

CRN’s shipyard has been founded in Ancona in 1963. In 1999, CRN became a part of “Ferretti Group”, side by side with brand-names “Ferretti Yachts”, “Pershing”, “Itamai”, “Bertram”, “Riva”, “Apreamare”, “Mochi Craft” and “Custom Line”.

CRN is world’s leading constructor of luxurious yachts made of steel and aluminum, with vessel-length ranging between 46 and 80 meters and value reaching several dozen million Euros.

President of CRN and co-owner of the entire “Ferretti” Group, who is also among the most influential figures in the world of nautical industry today, Lamerto Takoli spent last weekend in Budva.

Following the recommendation of Svetozar Marovic, with whom he had a meeting, Takoli has decided to open an official branch-office of this company in Budva.

Worth noting is the fact that CRN has such an office only in Monaco, which makes Budva second city in the world which will have a branch-office of this brand, also giving it important image in the world’ of wealthy nautical tourists as a new and undiscovered destination.

“We are the most important ship-company in the world, member of Ferretti Group and we are considered as world’s biggest yacht-constructors. We are located at the Adriatic, in Ancona.

Today, Ancona is world’s biggest shipyard for yachts. We are economically strong and the future of our company is bright, as we have orders for steel and aluminum yachts which will keep us booked till 2012”, Takoli said in an interview with “Vijesti.”

He emphasized that he has come to Montenegro because he was curious.

“I have done a great deal of traveling and I have heard that this country has huge potentials in terms of the use of its’ sea.

This is the country which requires lots of investment when it comes to nautical industry, but its’ ports have huge potential and I see an opportunity for us to invest in marinas.

I am grateful for Mr Marovic’s invitation, as I see his great wish to ensure investments to Montenegro. I am also grateful for getting an opportunity to see all this.

There is, really, a serious intention to invest in nautical industry here. I think that, with such possibilities when it comes to the sea, Montenegro can develop quite quickly.

We are discussing a joint investment in Montenegro, the possibility to present our company, group and, most probably, being the first company of this kind which would be present in Montenegro”, Takoli stated.

Shipyard in Ancon has 100,000 square meters. At this moment, CRN is a synonym for the exclusivity and prestige in the world of nautical industry.

Just Like Monaco

Director of “Mennyacht DOO”, who is an exclusive dealer of CRN for Montenegro and Serbia, Stjepan Skocajic announces that this branch-office would be opened by the beginning of the next season and that it would be built identical to the one which already exists in Monaco.

“Primary business of this office will be selling, rentals and service for mega-yachts.

Our clients, who travel around the world with CRN’s yachts also have their wishes. When they dock in Budva, they will have a full-service at their disposal, starting with the technical part and including all other services, including rental of cars, airplanes or helicopters, delivery of food, drinks, cold fruits or some particular wine, and anything at all which a client might require at that very moment.

To clarify even more, in order to enable such yachts to spend a long time at sea, they require additional servicing. And, as these yachts are big, their owners require special kinds of servicing.

As part of this service, there is a project which follows on these people, owners of yachts. So, whether he is in Venice and intends to come to Montenegro tomorrow, he is under constant care.

It is known what his wishes are and there is no need for him to explain in each port or marina what he requires.
