No traffic jams to Sutomore

Sutomore – At part of highway to turn to tunnel Sozina to bridge near restaurant “Izvor” at Sutomore, from yesterday are in function three traffic lanes each wide three meters and two sidewalks of a meter and a half each.

This works worth 350 thousand EUR represent the first phase of action of making of three kilometers of highway that is done by Municipality of Bar.
At this, 700 meters long part, is made new street lights, water supply, sewage and drainage as well as phone cables.
It is expected that this part at least to some extent levies traffic collapse that was in Sutomore entering high season.
It was so even yesterday at the building site where line of cars was from the Red beach to bus terminal.
-Traffic will now be more comfortable we apologize to all drivers for jam at this part for finishing of works during last three to four days. Works were prolonged for we did not expect that at site apart cadastre of infrastructure find such chaotic state. It was rational to make it all now – said yesterday for “Vijesti” mayor of Municipality Anka Vojvodic, adding that the second phase of works starts after season.
Then will be started underground passage at crossroads at Bus terminal at Sutomore and all these works should be done until end of this year.
It is also in Sutomore work new road to Maljevik.
Lane is 1250 meters long, seven wide with sidewalk on both sides of a meter and a half and drainage. Constructor is DOO “Bozovic”.
-Value of this investment is 1.5 million EUR including expropriation of land – said Vojvodic.
