THE FIGHT WITH THE PESANTS, THE RACE WITH THE POLICE
The participation in the race is paid with “trivial” 40.000 pounds per car and with two passengers. Constant participants are paying 10.000 pound less. This sum covers the cost of transport by plane, accommodation, food, but also fuel, insurance, fine for exceeding of speed, which every contestant will have to pay from their own pocket. It is a matter of prestige to win in this race, but to everyone it is more important to have a good time, to show to numerous spectators their crazy, expensive cars. For illustration, this rich amusement can be also very dangerous. In the previous years there were all kinds of things – chasing with the police, running from the gangs in Russia, fights with peasants because of the damaged cultivated fields, but also some serous traffic accidents and close meetings with poles.
