Montenegro - Irresistible charm of tradition and culture

- What we have specially done for this fair manifestation is the catalogue of accommodation on 40 pages, where the most significant hotels, suites and private accommodation are presented. That kind of a catalogue is necessary, especially for fair onsets,, because even though all those who are interested in Kotor have some information through the web site of the TO, or through what is a standard promotion inside the brochures which are issued by the facilities themselves, we thought that on a one joined place all that content would be useful. Budva is the first place in which that catalogue was found, and we will distribute it further on. What we have continued, compared to the last year’s fair onset in Budva, is the good practice of offer of everything that makes Kotor authentic, from the specific gastronomic offer, three hour movie, and photos of the very town, and of course everything that means the full presence of the sound, scent and pictures. It appears to me that there were a lot of people interested in coming to Kotor – said Zivkovic.

He said that in difference to the last year, this year the biggest hotel “Fjord” is not in the offer, while hotel “Vardar” until the beginning of the season will be renewed and presented in a much better quality state.

- However, we got a range of high quality hotels, and a certain great number of rooms and suites in private accommodation got a high quality contents in all aspects of need and expectations of the most prestigious guests. A lot is still being count on the excursion tourism, on the arrivals from the zone of yachting and cruising tourism.

We believe that Kotor, judging according to what we already have, will be full during the summer, and that the interest will be growing in the future. What makes us really proud is the great cultural and tourist events, which will be happening every week starting from the Camellia days until the New year – announced Zivkovic.

FESTIVAL PARADISE AND A MAGNET FOR NAVIGATORS

One of the most original fair onsets had by all means Tivat Tourist Organization, which on its stand presented what this smallest coastal municipality offers – irresistible charm of the authentic Boka Kotorska culture and tradition.

Beside getting to know with all the offer, of both hotel industry and private accommodation and cultural happenings through which Tivat stands out among other coastal towns, the visitors had a chance not just to see, but also to taste gastronomic specialties by which “Zucenica fest” is known for.

According to the words of the director of TO Dubravka Nikcevic this year too Tivat individually presented itself on Budva tourism market.

- On our stand HTE “Mimoza” presented itself, as well as all other small hotels, private accommodation and everything that makes the tourist offer of Tivat, all those contents, which Tivat offers during the season and out of it, above all “Tivat cultural summer”, “Festival of purgatorije”, “Tivat summer fiestas”… The stand had beautiful souvenirs, with which it seems that Tivat TO has started the series of renewed making of souvenirs in Montenegro.

On the first day greatest attention was given tu “Zucenica fest” during the presentation, where the Organization of women and Radio Tivat promoted this beautiful festival – said Nikcevic.

Pointing out that she is expecting a very successful season, Nikcevic added that TO is waiting the summer ready, in both printing the propaganda material, and preparation of the manifestation and promotions.

- The prices are slightly changed compared to the previous year. Namely, the price of a half board in a two-bedded room during the main tourist season in hotels on our Riviera, depending on the category goes from 25 to 29 euros. When we are talking about private accommodation in the main season the leasers have offered the prices, which are between 6 and 10 euros, depending on the category of the bed. When we are talking about the suites, the price per bed is from 10 to 15 euros. The leasers of the private accommodation this year have specially put an effort to present as better as possible their offer and to enhance the quality of their offer. Because of that reason TO Tivat made a catalogue of private accommodation with which we will have the onset on all following manifestation. In the middle of March we will already present ourselves in Vojvodina, where the Municipality Kotor will join us. It will be a nice presentation of Boka tourist offer in the towns of Vojvodina, in Novi Sad, Sremski Karlovci, and Zrenjanin – said Nikcevic.

NIKSIC, NEW EXCURSION CENTER OF MONTENEGRO

The stand of tourist business of Niksic provoked greatest attention of the visitors of tourism market in Budva. Designed to provoke the interest of every visitor, local Tourist organization has managed in original way to present all important tourist potentials of the town under Trebjesa. From the rafting offer and big rubber boat which dominated the stand, equipment for mountaineering, up to beautiful propaganda posters, brochures and other material, the visitor who visited the stand had the opportunities to see for themselves all the natural beauties and possibilities which this still not sufficiently used part of the tourist potential of Montenegro.

According to the words of the director of Niksic Tourist organization Dragica Popvic, TO for the first time presentes itself on some fair manifestation.

- We are on the stand with HTE “Onogost”, and we have presented what at the moment can be offered in Niksic. “Onogost” has presented its three hotels, “Niksic” in Sutomore, “Teuta” in Risan, and “Onogost” in Niksic, as well as the ski center “Vucje” which each and every one give a possibility for nice and pleasant, as well as active vacation. Through visual appearance of the stand we have tried to present everything what Nikisc and its surrounding offer, and those are excursion tours, rafting, skiing on Vucje, sports climbing. We have tried to present all those potentials which this town and its surrounding have and which can in tourist sense be interesting to guests, bot domestic and foreign ones – said Popovic.

Reminding that the local tourist organization was founded last year, she said that she is expecting a much better tourist year 2007.

- Last year there was a great number of foreign guests in Niksic, and now, when we are trying to organize everything in a better way, we are hoping that the offer will be better. Tourist organization of Niksic has a vision to make our town an excursion center, that is to have a possibility to bring as many excursion groups as possible, and to organize tours, and in that way to position this town on the tourist map of Montenegro.

Simply, we want to make Niksic become a transit center , to bring excursion tours from the coast on north and from the north on coast, to have them stay longer in our town, and to visit culturally – historical monument and with that to justify the existing of local TO – stressed Popovic.
