Because of the exquisite coastline and gorgeous mountains it can be said that Montenegro has great tourist potentials. Considering the fact that with its size it is very similar to Principality of Monaco, and because of the great number of foreign investments in the recent period, many experts think that it can become the next Monaco.

Since Montenegro got its independence there is a great demand for real estates in Montenegro. The investments in Montenegro today are so big that Montenegro is third in Europe in terms of per capita foreign direct investments.

Beside the fact that they are considered to be the greatest investors in Montenegro, Russians are also the most numerous tourists on Montenegrin coast. Also, unavoidably we have to mention great contract, which has been concluded with the Canadian, Peter Munk, one of the richest man in the world. He has bought the ex Yugoslav military shipbuilding yard, which is located in Tivat, and his plan is to build a great, luxurious marina for mega yachts.

As another important investment, which has already been set in motion, is the lease of three most exclusive hotels in Montenegro: Sveti Stefan, Milocer and Kraljicina plaza by Aman resorts group.

They are planning to ruin the existing hotel, Kraljicina plaza and to build a new more exclusive one in the same place, which will start working in 2009, and as for Milocer and Sveti Stefan they are planning to modernize and open them already next year. more
