Entire information about the capital city
Podgorica for sure is a place you must visit. It is the official, commercial, and a cultural center of now independent Montenegro. The town is known by the spacious and nicely arranged green areas and parks. The climate is Mediterranean; summers are dry, long and extremely warm, and the winters are mild, with often rainfalls.
Podgorica lies on five rivers: Moraca, Ribnica, Zeta, Sitnica, Mareza, and Cijevna, and those rivers are the source of life of Podgorica.
Even though until recently it was more a transit, and less a tourist center, Podgorica today, as one of the European capitals, with that characteristic, is becoming a subject of interest of the tourist population. Good infrastructural connection on one side with the coast, and with the north of Montenegro on the other, puts Podgorica in the line of Montenegrin towns in which more and more tourists decide to come, who traditionally prefer warm beaches and snow peaks.
And just few kilometers away from Podgorica, there is the biggest lake on the Balkans, Skadar Lake, an exquisite tourist destination with a lot of possibilities for an active tourism (birwatching, fishing, diving..)
As we can see Podgorica could represent an ideal place in which you can "raise a tent" and you could visit all those places in such a small period of time. Think about that.

Montenegro in the last few years has become a top tourist destination. One of the reasons for that is the great nature of Montenegro. The other reason we can find in the soon arrival of the Aman resorts group which is a synonym for high quality tourism. Their plans are to renew Sveti Stefan and Milocer and to construct a new hotel, Kraljicina plaza (QUEEN´S BEACH), with which Montenegro will become an even more desirable destination. Aman resorts are just one in a wide range of foreign investors (there are also Peter Munk, Soravia group etc.) in Montenegro who are turning it into an elite destination.

On the very entrance in Bay of Boka Kotorska lays seven centuries old town Herceg Novi. On the slopes of the mountain Orjen, in the greenness of the south flora, protected from the winds, Herceg Novi is one of the most beautiful summer and winter resorts on the east cost of the Adriatic Sea.
It is no wonder why Turkish, Spanish, French, and Austro – Hungarian civilizations fought for superiority; a part of all of them even today can be felt in the spirit of this Mediterranean town. Fortemare, Citadela, Kanli – kula, Sahat kula, and many other fortresses and edifices testify about the significance of the town, and are by all means a part of every trip or walk in Herceg Novi.
Baroque edifices, churches in Byzantine style, and the archive 300 years old will reveal to you that, beside its climate, this town has to offer one culturally – historic content worthy of everyone’s attention.
