Montenegro is connected to the world through road, railway, maritime and air transportation.

You can select the manner that suits you best in order to get to Montenegro.

In recent years, Montenegro has invested significantly into the road infrastructure, in order to enable faster, safer and more pleasant arrival to the country for as many tourists as possible.

There are several hundred planes that land at the Podgorica and Tivat airports every day during the high season, with visitors from around the world.

A large number of passenger ships dock in the port of Bar and the many marinas along the whole coastal zone are ready to welcome small and medium size yachts. But today, we have also Budva Marina and exclusive Porto Montenegro in Tivat.

If you are coming from EU or other countries on the free visa list (VISAS) you don’t need a visa to visit Montenegro; on the contrary, you can easily and without a long procedure enter the country at any of the official border crossings.

Once you come to Montenegro, you can also use the services of various rent-a-car companies. There is an increasing number of small agencies which use modern vehicles to transport the tourists to all the significant tourist locations.

There is also a large number of travel agencies that offer organised tours and excellent entertainment.

Montenegro have excellent bus connection between all main points. There is local bus transport, and of course bus transport to cities around the Europe (especially for main destination in neighbour countries).
There is no modern railway in Montenegro. Ride with trains can be specific kind of experience, but we do not suggest this kind of transport for people who expect high quality service.
Renting Car or Car Hire Service in Montenegro is excellent. There is many Rent-a-Car Agencies, but we also recommend to make reservation with our secure, high quality service – with top world leading brands.
