That two-year pilot program will last from 4th of April until the 12th of May, and the guests will be staying for rest for four days. They will have organized excursions for them to Kotor, Dubrovnik, Albania, as well as a Montenegro tour.
– If the Austrian partners are satisfied the program will be organized in the next five to ten years. in that way about 100.000 pensioners from Austria would come to Montenegro – said on a yesterday’s press conference Bosko Lucic, the owner of the company, which used to be called Autosaobracaj.
“Blue Line” has regular bus lines in Montenegro. Twelve lines are connecting the entire region. They have in plan to introduce bus lines from Montenegro to Zurich and Munich in order for that region to be connected with the central Europe.
“Blue Line” in agreement with the representatives of Boka municipalities and Budva, will improve and make faster and more modern the bus connection between those four towns.
Investment in the traffic infrastructure, points out Lucic, should be a priority of Local and Republic authority if they intend to develop themselves as tourist destination.
– A pleased guest, says an American research will bring another three guests, and a displeased guests will reject another 17 tourists – stated Lucic.
THIRD LINE IS NECESSARY
In order for Herceg Novi Municipality not to have the traffic collapse in the peak of tourist season Lucic suggested that a new third traffic line should be constructed in the entrance, that is on the exit from the town, as well as the construction of a parking lot, adequate stand points fro buses, and the adequate Bus stations in which they themselves are interested to invest.
Company “Blue Line” which is a Montenegrin national brand for the transport of passengers on the road traffic, last year drove 1, 86 millions of passengers, and their buses have drove over 3, 2 millions of kilometers all over the region. They have 60 buses, and employ a hundred of workers. Tourist agency “Blue Travel” is also a part of the company. They are planning to construct a modern distributive center on about nine thousands of square meters, in the vicinity of Tivat airport.
