This September, the company Ryanair rewarded the 100-thousandth passenger from Podgorica Airport.
“This was a very nice surprise for the end of the holiday. They told me that I am hundred thousandth passenger, and have won the award. I often travel with Ryanair and it is good that there is a line for Montenegro, “said Aldini Licina that with extended family returns from holidays in Luxembourg where he lives and works.
The award, received two free tickets on the line Brussels Podgorica.
Director of Marketing and Sales Ryanair for Romania, Central and Eastern Europe Denis Barabas said that Ryanair reported a great interest in the line from Podgorica with regard to the passengers from Montenegro very well accepted by the airline. Ryanair currently have two air lines from Podgorica: one to Brussels and another to London.
Right now, there is eight flights a week, with more than 30,000 passengers a year.
This is something that Montenegro has long been waiting for. Low cost flights are definitely great solution for Montenegro’s future, considering the fact that Montenegro is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the world.
