Pogorica – Existing capacities in the offer of qualifying services, according to the Strategy of the development of human resources in tourism which was made by the Montenegrin ministry in charge, are far from sufficient to cover the needs for the qualified expert stuff in tourist sector, which in the future will grow a lot.
– Quality of education needs to be improved, that is to be optimized with the orientation towards the standards of European union and at the same time organized diversification of qualification offers – it is said in the Strategy. The number of working places with full time job in tourism, as he adds, will grow until 2016 from the existing 14,5 to 24, 5 thousands.
Sector of hotel keeping and restaurant keeping has 83% of the existing working places with full time job, in tourism, and in traveling agencies we have 10%, and in remaining areas we have 7%.
Percentage division, as it is stated, will remain the same even after the prognosis of growth of the number of working places in tourism until 2016, so the biggest need for qualified expert personnel is in hotels and in restaurants.
– From the additional ten thousands of qualified workers until 2016,, more than a half will be those of third degree of professional education, 27% with the fourth degree, and 17% from the 5th to 7th degree – it is said in that document.
Beside the quantity need for the qualified expert stuff, which is increasing, we should especially stress the future increased segment of the need for those with higher degrees of education, from 4th to 7th degree.
The need at higher degrees could be partially covered with the stuff from other faculties such as economics- that is the opinion of the authors of the Strategy.
