Beograd – New owners have invested in Montenegrin tourist economy about 300 millions of euros, and in progress is the carrying out of the investments worth about 150 millions of euros – said the Minister of tourism and protection of environment Predrag Nenezic.
– Three quarters of investments come from west European the countries, but individually the Russian businessman invested the biggest amounts – said Nenezic for Belgrade “”Danas” (TODAY). Nenezic is expecting this year the growth of at least 10% of tourists from Serbia because the prices are the same as they were last year, except in the facilities in which the category and the level of services were raised.
He said that “thanks to political consensus” Montenegro started the privatization of all tourist facilities and that more than 80% of hotels got new owners, and the potential buyers are conditioned with obligatory investments and raising of the level of services in the facilities which they are taking over.
