Tivat – That the navigation season is in its prime is confirmed by the situation in Boka Kotorska where last weekend there were about a dozen of ultra luxurious mega yachts more than 30 meters long. Among them was the biggest yacht which this year sailed in in Montenegrin waters – grand “O Mega” under the Greek flag, this 82, 5 meters long ship, sailied in in Friday in Boka Kotorska in order for it to be tied not long after in city harbor in Kotor, where it has company of 7 other big and luxurious yachts.
O Mega whose renting is 49.000 daily was built in 1985 in Japan, in the shipbuilding yard of renown company Mitsubishi and at the moment is 28th on the list of 100 biggest yachts in the world.
In its 16 luxurious cabins O Mega can receive 32 passengers who, among other things, have at their disposal a yoga studio, an open and an indoor Jacuzzi, mini wellness and spa center, gym with a personal trainer, masseur, a beauty saloon and a wide specter of gear for diving and water sports. With the speed of 17 knots O Mega, which else was renewed completely two and a half years ago, is moved by two diesel engines of total strength of 4.000kW.
Beside this one a big motor yacht New Sunrise was in Kotor last weekend, which is 61, 5 meters long and which sails under the flag of Cayman islands. Especially impressive sight under the bulwarks of the Old town was only one-year-old mega yacht Secret which is 62 meters long, which is product of renown Dutch shipbuilding yard Feadship.
At the same time in Boka stayed a 55 meter long Greek ship Callisto, a big 49 meters long old timer motor cruiser Zurga which sails under the Malta flag, a 40 meter long Lady Zelda, a 34 meter long Helena, and 30 meters long Bella Navetta, Viking Legacy, Pocanoja, Valeria, and Bravi I.
