Podgorica – Singapore company Aman resorts in the next 30 years will control the hotels Sveti Stefan, Milocer and Queen’s beach, for which yearly they will pay 10% of the achieved incomes, considering the fact that that amount can not be less than 2, 1 millions of euros.
Those are the main guidelines of the sales contract which will be signed between the Singapore Company and Montenegrin Government, Budva Riviera and HTE Milocer as the owner of the hotels. The counsel for the privatization has given its concordance for the signing of the contract yesterday, and two days ago the same thing was done by the Boards of directors of Budva Riviera and Milocer, and the green light will be formally given by the Government in Thursday.
It was said from the Government to “Vijesti” that the signing is expected to happen until the end of the month latest, while the terms are set, and it is said that Aman will officially take over the facilities on the 15th of January.
After almost a year of negotiations it is agreed that the Singapore Company has to invest at least 40 millions of euros in three pearls of Montenegrin tourism, in which the construction of the new Queen’s hotel, which will be first ruined, is included.
New Queen’s beach with 5 stars will have 56 suits, and 40 rooms. On the plateau in the rear of that hotel, as it was said to “Vijesti” from the Government, there will be a wellness complex Aman spa constructed which will have all the contents that have never been seen in those areas.
Aman resorts has in their ownership about 20 luxurious hotels and villas in Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, USA, Morocco, Filipino, India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and France with a minimal overnight stay price of about 800 euros. Sveti Stefan, Milocer and Queen’s beach will be brought to that standard.
People from Singapore after the taking over of Montenegrin hotels will pay a preliminary lease of 1, 95 millions of euros, of which 1, 6 millions of euro for Sveti Stefan and Milocer will be given to Budva Riviera, while 350.000 euros for the Queen’s beach will go to HTE Milocer.
Aman resorts will take over 186 employees in Sveti Stefan and Milocer who were on the payroll of Budva Riviera as a mother firm, as well as 35 employees in the Queen’s beach.
