Zabljak – In the last five days on Zabljak a seminar was held which was in the organization of the National association of teachers and trainers of skiing and snowboarding MASI, under the leadership of a well – known Slovenian expert Ales Lavric, and which was attended by 50 new pedagogies of winter sports from Montenegro and Serbia.
General secretary of this association Mileta Lekovic says that 6 students who enrolled the course has successfully passed the seminar for alpine disciplined and two students have passes the seminar for snowboarding, so now this organization has 120 licensed trainers.
– In the theoretical part the enrolled students were presented the history of skiing in Montenegro, the technique and method of alpine skiing as well as the ethics, safety and codex of behavior of skiers. They talked about skiing gear, and a significant topic was first aid. Practically, on Savin kuk the enrolled students have met the national skiing school, themes of technique and methodic of studying skiing. On the exam there was the theoretical and practical part – says Lekovic.
He added that a dozen of Montenegrin teachers of skiing transfer its knowledge at the ski centers abroad. Among them is one of our best skiers from the beginning of the 80’s a man from Kolasin, Miro Scepanovic, who works in the USA, and somewhat younger women from Rozaje, Indira Nukovic, beside ours got the prestigious license and is the trainer of the national team of Austria.
Canadian – American association of teachers and trainers has offered the skiing pedagogies a job on their skiing centers – said Lekovic.
He said that he is expecting that now there will be fewer trainers without a degree, which on our skiing centers were numerous, as well as that that will be regulated with a proposal of the law about skiing centers which is in preparation.
