Zabljak – The people who respect the traditional skils from Pljevlja, Mojkovac, Bijelo Polje, Kolasin, Berane, and Zabljak have exhibited more than 500 knitted, embroidered, weaved, woven, and carved works on a traditional exhibition held on the occasion of the 8th of March in the home of national park “Durmitor”.
The jury which was made of Desanka Sljivancanin, Vera Andesilic, and Danka Radulovic, in the category of knitted works has rewarded Svetlana Zivkovic from Plejvlja, with the first reward, Draginja Obradovic from Zabljak with the second, and Dana Balandzic from Pljevlja and Mira Miljic from Zabljaka with the third reward.
The first reward in the competition of embroidered works went to Bozana Susic from Bijelo Polje, and the second and the third to women from Zabljak Radmila Keker and Rada Karadzic. Best women who are weaving are Katarina Zugic from Zabljak, Branka Djuric from Pljevlja, and Margita Obradovic from Zabljak. For woven works the first reward went to Snezana Babovic from Berane, the second to Bela Terzic from Zabljak, and the two third rewards went to women from Zabljak Danka Andesilic and Mirjana Maric.
For the jury it was toughest to make a decision for the mark of the best-carved pieces where the most rewards was given. All of the rewards went to people from Zabljak, first to Bozidat Pejovic, two second rewards to Radomir Medojevic and Rados Karadzic,a nd three third rewards went to Miodrag Karadzic, Jovo Badnjar, and Zeko Obradovic. The NP “Durmitor” which has bought a part of the exhibits provided the fund for the rewards and in the following period it will offer them to tourists in selling facilities in the home of the national park and on Crno jezero.
