Podgorica – Hungarian Trigranit is ready to invest seven billions of euros in Montenegro because in the following decade it will mark such an economic development like the one which other countries have to fight for, for decades – thinks director of that company for the southeast Europe George Bobwash.
Bobwash reminded that Trgranit is interested in construction of exclusive tourist lodgment on Velika plaza and a city center Millennium in Podgorica, as well as for the investment on other location on the coast and on Skadar Lake.
According to his words, if Trigranit gets those deals it will engage 200 to 300 Montenegrin enterprises and will open 70.000 new working places.
-Montenegro is on the crossroad on which it should decide whether it will go down the road of a sped up development, continue the attraction of foreign investments and become the 2nd Monaco, or because of someone’s vanity and monopolist lobbies, used to treats, it will chose to stay on current level – said Bobwash for the first number of Montenegro Economist.
He added that the first announcement of Trigranit that it plans such great investments has already drawn great attention towards Montenegro, and that has caused “displeasure of domestic clans because Trigranit appeared as someone who can jeopardize their earlier monopolist positions”.
