Podgorica – The presence of European bank for reconstruction and development (EBRD) through the representative offices in Podgorica is very encouraging for investors and directs a strong message of European presence in Montenegro. The president of Democratic Party of Socialists Milo Djukanovic in conversation yesterday noted that with the political adviser of the president of EBRD Oleg Levitin.
Djukanovic said that that is “even more important if one has in mind that here some very dynamic European processes will be taking place” it was said from DPS.
– Beside the strong determination of Montenegro to adopt European standards, to such a development of situation favors also the circumstance that Montenegro is a small system that faster than other systems can adjust to the challenges of the European road – said Djukanovic.
Djukanovic and Levitin have stated that the opening of the representation offices of EBRD in Podgorica will give a strong encouragement to cooperation of Montenegro and that institution. Levitin expressed his readiness of EBRD to give a full support and help to Montenegro on its way towards the integrations and announced a recent opening of permanent office at the head with Marek Lorinc.
With Levitin yesterday spoke Milan Rocen, minister of foreign affairs and Milorad Katnic, the assistant of the minister of finances.
– It was said that Montenegro has made significant macroeconomic results and that there are all pre-conditions for attracting of foreign investments and for its fast advancing towards the achieving of European and Euro Atlantic goals – it was said from Rocen’s cabinet.
