Budva – Republic tourist inspection warned yesterday that all transporters and vans that illegally organize excursion tours will be obliged to pay fine up to 3500 EUR and there is possibility that vehicle could be taken away if they are caught in offence.
According to words of main tourist inspector Bozidar Vucekovic, possibility for organizing excursions according to law have exclusive tourist agencies and not individuals.
-At the start of season and arrival of large number of foreign guests to hotels especially at Budva Riviera made conditions for appearance of illegal transporters. Inspection noticed that some van transporters specially in front of Petrovac hotel “Palas” and Becici “Tara” as well as at other locations, offer excursion programs to foreign guests. These are excursions to attractive localities as monastery Ostrog, Lovcen and Lake of Scadar – stated Vucekovic.
In cooperation with traffic police, he adds, controls will be done regularly.
Fines are as he says large and in amount of 2500 for entrepreneurs and 1000 for citizens.
He said that inspection continued control of owners of catering and tourist facilities where is performed live or mechanic music and checks if they made contract with Organization for protection of rights of authors of music – PAM CG.
Tourist inspection he explains has authorization to view offering of services than can harm copy rights in field of tourism and catering.
-One of the laws that follows copy rights protection is Law on author and similar rights that is in force since January 1, 2005. It settles rights of authors of literary, scientific, specialist and artistic works, rights of interpreters, the first interpreter, free part, producers of phonograms, video grams, emissions and way of executing author and similar rights. The law states 10 author works of which music is part of duty of tourist inspection – concluded Vucekovic.
