Budva – With the arrival of the organized group of 126 French guests in Petrovac hotel “Palas” yesterday the summer tourist season in the biggest Montenegrin enterprise – Budva Riviera has started.
In the preparation of the season, that is in the adaptation of three hotel complexes – Budva “Slovenska plaza”, and “Aleksandar”, and in “Palas” in Petrovac HTE has invested more than half a million of euros.
The sales director Nikola Kentera said that this year’s season will be marked by a great turnover from foreign market, and a significantly successful pre and post season are expected.
The first tourists came in “Palas” through French tour operator “Prodintour”.
– Today in hotel “Aleksandar” said Kentera there will be 80 guests.
We are expecting that in the hotel of “Budva Riviera” this year there will be most guests from the foreign market. For the first time we have prepared fixed contracts for 135 days with the partners from Russian market, which guarantee us a 100% fullness from 1st of June until October. At the end of April, during the May and until; the mid of June we are expecting a great number of tourists from Serbia. Because of certain reasons, last year we practically had a lost pre season from the Serbian market. This year groups from Serbia will stay in “Slovenska plaza”. That is why we are expecting a much better fullness in the pre season compared to last year – announced Kentera.
Based on the signed fixed contracts, he added, it is expected that the hotels from 15th of June until the end of September will be completely full.
– All that tells us that the season will be good, and also the post season. Russian tourists for us are an important market because of the fixed arrangements but they will not make the majority of guests. “Slovenska plaza” will have tourists from Bulgaria and in Petrovac there will be guests from France – said Kentera.
Except German and Serbian, he pointed out the market of Poland, Slovenia and Scandinavia will also have a significant participation.
THE MORE EXPENSIVE ACCOMMODATION
The prices in “Budva Riviera” are, said Kentera increased for 12 to 15% compared to last year/
– Through the increase of prices and the structure of guests we are expecting additional economic effect which will reflect on the terminating financial result in the firm – he said and added that the costs of the enterprise for power, water, and telephone will be bigger.
