Igalo – Good season in hotel Center in Igalo will be continued until the end of October – said director Lazar Corovic stating that the fullness of capacities was never bellow 90% and that it is very hard to find a spare bed.
He noted this year’s season, in which they had 12% more overnight stays than last year, as one of the most successful ones in the last few years.
In hotel this summer we had guests from the ex YU territory and from Albania mostly. They will come in groups throughout whole September. The price of the full board with therapies in that period will be 19 euros.
From 25th of August members of the Republic Union will be guests in our hotel who are coming through agency Rekra.
From 22nd of September until 22nd of October we will have three groups, of 600 Montenegrin pensioners, which will stay for 10 days each. Their vacation which will be paid in ten monthly rates has been carried out in cooperation with the Fund of PII and the Association of pensioners of Montenegro.
Hotel will be closed down on 22nd of October after which we will start the preparations for its reconstruction.
-We have already signed the contract about the composure of the idea solution and of the feasibility study for the reconstruction of the hotel and that project should be done in 90 days. After that we have by our program the composure of the main project, and if everything goes as planned the reconstruction could begin until the end of 2008 – said Corovic, mentioning that only after the raising of the level of services in Center they can expect richer guests.
Hotel Center was privatized last year when consortium HLT fund and HTP Primorje bought 81% of the stocks of the fund PII at the open competition for 3.100.000 euros.
With the investment program it is predicted that they will invest 4 millions of euros. New owners have announced that they will keep the health segment in providing services by which Igalo is recognized in the region.
Center has 568 beds, indoor pool, accompanying contents meant for physical therapy, their own beach and the restaurant Obala.
