Budva – The biggest Montenegrin hotel enterprise “Budva Riviera” has achieved about half a million of overnight stays in this season, which is 5 % more than at the top of the season last year.
-Foreign traffic is 50 % bigger, and by that, the financial effects are significantly better compared to the previous year. The greatest number of overnight stays, more than a half, were achieved in the tourist lodgment “Slovenska plaza” (Slovenian beach). That lodgment had a fewer capacities in May and at the beginning of June because of the lack of the circulation from the domestic market, while in September there was 10 % more overnight stays than last year – said the sales director Nikola Kentera.
He added that slowly hotels are closing up, and that the season is ending.
– The facilities in Petrovac were closed on the 6th of October, nine days later we are closing “Slovenska plaza” and “Sveti Stefan”, while hotel “Aleksandar” in Budva will work until the end of October. In our hotels we have mostly foreign guests mostly from Germany and Russia. There are also domestic guests, and until the closing, in “Slovenska plaza” we will receive several excursions – said Kentera.
