Budva – Budva hotelkeepers for already month and a half are having 100% fullness of capacities, and according to official records of the local TO in the metropolis of tourism there are currently somewhat less than 50.000 guests, 1/3 more than in the middle of august last year.
If it is to judge according to the official records of NTO, as in all previous weeks, during July and at the beginning of August every second guests who is staying in Montenegro is staying in the metropolis of tourism.
From the total number of registered guests 49.050, as the director of Budva TO Tanja Kazanegra said, 47.805 foreign and 1.245 domestic tourists are staying on Budva Riviera.
– 12.945 guests are staying in hotels, 2% less than in the middle of August last year. Hotelkeepers have received 12.532 foreign guests, while they had 422 domestic guests. Well capacities mark camps in the area of our municipality, so in that type of accommodation we have 1.932 guests, 1/3 more than last year. We have in camps 1.910 foreign and 22 domestic guests. Similar situation is in rest homes in which there are 4.815 guests, almost 1/5 more than at the same time last year. In that type of accommodation there are 4.803 foreign and 12 domestic tourists – said Kazanagra.
– It is estimated that in private accommodation on Budva Riviera at the moment there are 29.358 tourists, which is 63% more than in the middle of August last year. House owners have received 28.569 foreign guests, while 7809 tourists are from Montenegro – said Kazanegra.
STILL MAJORITY OF COMPLAINTS IS RELATED TO NOISE
Tourists who were staying in Montenegro during the last week, according to the report of the service of the telephone for complaints 9817 of the Ministry of tourism which works as a part of Montenegro tourist center, mostly complained on noise.
– During the previous week we had 243 calls, of which 216 were complaints and 27 praises. Majority of complaints, as in the previous period was related to too loud music, unauthorized disposal of garbage and waste, on construction works, and on beaches,
Praises were related to comfortable of accommodation, arranged swimming resorts and rich culturally – entreating program in tourist places. At the same period last year Service of the phone for complaints 9817 had 263 calls of which 181 were complaints and 82 were praises. Tourist phone 9797 during the last week had about 800 calls. Majority of calls were related to the information about the entertaining and cultural happenings in tourist places, and visit to national parks – said Ceranic.
