Herceg Novi – In the city harbor since the 1st of June 160 ships sailed in, and until the end of the month there will be another hundred of them. As the director Obrad Gojkovic said, the harbor which can take 30 ships would be full even if it was ten times bigger. He is convinced that this year much more vessels will sail in the harbor than last year when they had 800 ships.
– Every day we receive calls and announcements of the navigators from Greece, Spain, and entire Mediterranean and we try to indulge everyone. Compared to last year the prices of services have been increased for 25%. Daily binding is 2, 5 euros per meter of length. Averagely, for a yacht 12 matters long, for electricity, water and binding navigators have to pay 40 euros per day – said Gojkovic.
Navigators can supply themselves with fuel too in the harbor, and nearby are restaurants and cafes. Every day there are dozens of tourist boats from Kotor and Budva which bring from 250 to 300 excursionists.
– Montenegro doesn’t have a navigation guide, but navigators among themselves exchange information and direct colleagues to our harbor, and the majority of owners of yachts often stop by, which speaks about the quality of our services – said Gojkovic.
