Podgorica – In Montenegro there is a need for training of the personnel in the tourism and sector for providing services – it was estimated in the Montenegro training forum (MTF).
MTF is an educational and developmental institution which will be dealing with the training of the personnel and giving advising services, and it will start working in Wednesday. The foundation of MTF was financed by the Agency for international development (USAID) and the Swedish agency for international development and cooperation (SIDA). The founder of MTF is the NGO Forum Syd which for already several years us active in Montenegro and owns a great experience in working with young and marginalized social groups.
Director of MTF, Kristina Milic explained that according to a research which was conducted in September and October last year, only 3% of the questioners marked the level of knowledge and the work of the employees excellent.
– The fact that 60% marked that the level of work and knowledge of the employees is “average” or “unsatisfactory” shows that there is a need for additional training both of employed and unemployed persons from those professions – she announced.
The program includes the areas of strategic planning, management of resources and negotiations, promotion of the cooperation among the employees, as well as the development of the relationship with the clients.
– Our primary task is consisted of researching and hearing the demands in order for us to give the most effective response and insure the quality of the consulting and training services – said Milic.
She reminded that the knowledge is important, and the investment in the personnel brings new possibilities, because “people are the main resource of the organization”.
– The specificity of this program of training is seen in the adjustability to each target group in the domain of the organized training, because of which it is possible to organize training for unqualified persons, as well as for the highly qualified personnel – said Milic.
