Budva – Budva’s tourist organization for the first time will present itself individually in some of the EU countries and on the tourist market in Prague, which will be held from the 15th to 18th of February.
On a separate stand the offer of the metropolis of tourism for the 2007 will be promoted.
Budva’s tourist delegation will be led by the mayor Rajko Kuljaca and the vice president of the municipality, Lazar Radjenovic.
During this year, says the director of the local TO, Tanja Kazanegra, the offer of the town will be presented on 11 fairs in the region, as well as in the countries of Europe.
– The total budget for this year, for the fair presentation, is 150.000€, as much as the cost for renting and arranging the stands is, and the printing of the propaganda material – said Kazanegra on a yesterday’s press conference.
She reminded on the friendship of Czech Republic and Montenegro, as well as on the fact that Budva is adopted brother with the Czech town Valski Mezerichi.
– Numerous Czech tourists for years have been coming on our Riviera. Just for the last year Budva was visited by 9.248 tourists from Czech Republic, which compared to the year 2005 is 10% more. Compared to the year 2004 it’s even 37% more – said Kazenegra and added that she is expecting an even bigger number of tourists from that country.
After Prague, the offer of Budva will be presented on the market in Berlin and in Moscow, on the stand of the national TO.
On the stand of the tour operator “Techno tourist” they will have the onset on the market in Milan too.
– Individually we will present ourselves on the stand in Belgarde, while with the TO of Bar, Kotor and Tivat we will present ourselves in Ljubljana and Banjaluka – said Kazanegra.
She added that the preparations for the international tourist market in Budva – METUBES are in progress, which will be held from the 28th of February to the 2nd of March.
