Podgorica – London Company Belfairs management and consortium of Atlas group which is the ownership of Dusko Knezevic, have submitted their offers at the open competition for the sale of the Center of military health institutions Meljine.
The offers, as it was announced from the Ministry of finances which is the organizer of the sale, will be opened today at 15 h and 30 minutes. Swiss company Jupiter Adria AG, which also bought up the open competition documentation, did not submit the offers.
Belfairs management, behind which stand Arabian investors, among others, owns several clinics in the world, in London where also is the seat of the company, then in Abu Dhabi, in Kuwait. They are connected with bank group Credit Swiss which supports them in their projects.
“Vijesti” found out that the members of Atlas group, Atlasmont bank and Invest bank Montenegro have submitted the offer in consortium with a special hospital for intern illnesses Sveti Nikola from Serbia. Based on available data from the Internet, hospital Sveti Nikola is located near Kraljevo. That is the first private hospital in Serbia which 12 years ago was founded by Milos Radenkovic. Radenkovic is also the owner of famous company Gradjevinar (Constructor) that in Serbia has built a large number of facilities.
According to the terms of the open competition for Meljine, the offers will be accepted if the investor submits the proof that he is in health business for at least 10 years, and that he had a year turnover of at least 50 millions of euros in last three years.
As things are standing now, both offers fulfill the formal conditions and we should wait for publishing of the financial part that will decide who is the winner. Complex in Meljine has about 50.000 square meters of land, and 19 facilities of surface of 23.000 square meters. Rehab center, birth ward, surgery, intern ward, Institute of maritime medicine, several cabinets, laboratory, Center for transfusion and the attractive villa Lovcenka are a part of the complex.
