Bar – In the presence of a smaller number of visitors not just from Montenegro but also from numerous foreign countries yesterday the traditional event Days of ecology, tourism and culture – Murici 2007 was held on the beach in Murici on Skadar Lake.
Event was organized by a NGO Days of Skadar lake, and beside this organization the patrons were Municipality of Bar, Local community DOni Sestani, and the Tourist organization of Bar.
Instead of the announced mayor of Bar Zarko Pavicevic the event was opened after and hour and a half of delay, by the individual counselor in Bar Secretariate for general management and social activities Bozo Sljivancanin.
Sljivancanin has pointed out that the Municipality of Bar has listed that event in the calendar of cultural events with the goal to influence on development of tourism and ecological protection of Skadar Lake.
– In the budget of the Municipality we have a special note for financing of this event – said Sljivancanin.
Director of the NGO Days of Skadar lake Drago Lekovic said that that organization is throwing a set of similar events from River Crnojevic to Skoddar.
– The goal of the event is the valorization and standing out of resources and potentials, which Skadar Lake has, and those possibilities, what is most important, have been well preserved. That is the intact nature and we wish to present it through these events said Lekovic.
Director of the Republic Bureau for protection of environment Zlatko Bulic said that Skadar Lake is one of the most beautiful areas of Montenegro and Albania and one of 154 bio diversities on the planet, the area which is largely preserved and which in the future will have tourist, economic and cultural development.
Representative of LC DOnji Sestani Jozo Lukic has welcomed all those present and has wished them a pleasant staying in Murici.
Program presenter Dragisa Simovic has wished a warm welcome to everyone on a class of ecology “on one of the most beautiful lakes and the most beautiful beach on Skadar Lake”.
In the cultural artistic part of the progam poet Rajko Jolicic, musicians Miodrag Zunic Zuna, Ivana Gajic, Nikola Buskovic, Sasa Milenkovic, Stef Malenovic, and the rofessor of violine at Prizren academy Marko Kastriot took part in.
Domestic food has been presented – dry and fresh lake carp, goat cheese, Crminica wine which all visitors were able to taste.
The announced round table Protection of environment and development of tourism which was supposed to be organized by the Republic bureau for protection of environment was not held.
