Budva – Executive director of “Budvanska rivijera” Dusko Lalicevic said that before that company is good season what show extreme interest of domestic and foreign tour operators and agencies for booking. He said that the company already three years in success operates positive and 2005 concluded with profit of 75000 EUR “That also stated audit report”.
-To some agencies, even foreign we must cut number of capacities defined by contract. That means that we will have one good tourist season and we expect that total turnover of full board will be for 17% larger than last year, out board 6% and total income for some 10%. I think that it is real to say that relation of foreign and domestic guests will be 80% in favor of foreign tourists. Policy of “Budvanska rivijera” was always that important part of capacities leave for domestic market although we could fill all our capacities from the foreign one. A few days ago we made large contract with one public enterprise from Serbia. Value of that business is 534 thousand EUR and we will host 3000 of their guests. Interest of domestic market is large, booking of our capacities in Serbia is excellent – said Lalicevic at the press conference.
Although in business plan assumed that during May Petrovac hotel “Palas” has 5000 nights, as he stressed, there will be double more.
-Sveti Stefan last year in May had 2660 nights and this year will be over 4200. That says that when you have good before season you enter in one real good season – said Lalicevic.
Budva gets new elite hotel
Lalicevic confirmed writing of “Vijesti” that “Budvanska rivijera” made protocol on business cooperation with Austrian company “Soravia group” that assumes building of luxurious hotel tourist complex in Budva.
“Soravia group” will insure investments for the new hotel at Budva that will be built according to highest international standards at license of generally known hotel tourist complexes “Meriot”, “Hilton” or other hotels of that level, while “Budvanska rivijera” will procure location. That lend is next to “Slovenska plaza and in next days will be known exactly which. Space of lend is of about 11000 m2. They do not build hotels with capacity less than 600 beds. Anyway with hotel “Slovenska plaza” will manage board of directors consisting of representatives of “Soravia group” and “Budvanska rivijera” – said Lalicevic and added that “Soravia” is ready to invest in the project 50 million EUR.
Sveti Stefan remains the same
Answering to the question whether future lease-holder of “Sveti Stefan” – Singapore company “Aman resorts” will change appearance of that authentic town hotel, Lalicevic said that in Budva some ten engineers from “Aman group” checking some elements of idea solution of Sveti Stefan.
-That solution is coordinated with Institute of protection of culture monuments of Montenegro in order not to change ambient of this lovely culture historic monument. Nothing can be done at Sveti Stefan if not agreed from Institute. I am absolutely that no detail of this lovely monument is changed – concluded Lalicevic.
