Podgorica – Ministry of traffic, navigation and telecommunications will suggest to the Government to sell the yacht “Primorka”, which used to be a part of the vehicular park of the lifetime president of Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito. In the ministry they mark that “Primorka” no longer can be used for representative needs of the state.
-Total expense for maintenance, supply, and the incomes of 5 members crew, under the assumption that they are hired 30 times per year, which was its average, would be around 140.000 euros. Yacht had two shipwrecks and it ended both times on the bottom of the sea. 75.000 of euros were invested in its repair, and for the entire arranging so that it could be used in residential purposes another 200.000 euros should be provided. Because of that we have estimated that a more rational solution is to sell “Primorka” – it was said for “Vijesti” from the Ministry of traffic.
In the Ministry they think that they should announce an open competition for the sale of “Primorka” at the beginning price of 180.000 euros.
– If we do not manage to sell it, we will once again announce an open competition with the beginning price of 150.000 euros. If that too doesn’t succeed we should invest money in its arranging, which will be in accordance with the characteristics of the vessel and an estimation that the demanded level of functionality can not be guaranteed, so that the vessel after arranging could e sold at a price enlarged for the amount which was invested in its arranging – said the collocutor of “Vijesti”.
“Primorka” was built in 1974 in Italy. It is 24,22 meters long and 6,3 meters wide. It is moved by two engines which have 1.000 horsepowers, and they can have the speed of maximum 28 knots per hour.
Four-member crew of “Primorka” will get two more salaries, and after that they will be dismissed, with the suitable, with law predicted dismissal wage.
“Primorka” in the last few years was under the suthority of Ministry of traffic.
– In the budget of the Ministry for this year the money for maintaining of “Primorka” is not predicted, so the sale is the only way out – they say in the Minsitry.
STATE IS GOOD WITH “JADRANKA”
In the Ministry of traffic they think that for the needs of the state protocol they can fully be answered with the usage of the motor vessel “Jadranka”, which is found in the composition of the fleet of Army of Montenegro.
– “Jadranka” was made in 1977 year and it was exclusively used for representational needs. Last time it was docked at the end of 2001. Now the preparations are being made for its docking in MTRZ Tivat so that it would be ready for the new season. “Jadranka” is 34,1 meter long, and 8,2 meters wide. It has two engines of 2.150 KW and, without docking in, it can stay out in the open sea for 12 days – it is said in the Ministry of traffic.
