Budva – If for some beach one could say that it is the most beautiful one on Montenegrin coats then for sure that would be Budva Mogren. Almost every propaganda tourist spot has at least one sequence with this beach. Unusually beautiful, marked as a “gem of Montenegrin coast” Mogren I for three years in a row has the Blue flag. Located in a small valley, which the Mediterranean forest divided from city crowd, this swimming resort with its beauty and natural ambience with every right is considered to be the most attractive on the coast.
Dived into the cove along which steeply high cliffs raise it is a real challenge for all those who love to enjoy in the “wild beauty” of Montenegrin coast. What used to be an unapproachable beach, which was only reached with boats, now we have a 380 meters paved path, which is leaned on the rocky foothill of the hill Spas. Curly path is another of trademarks of this beach, because it represents favorite places for lovers of jump diving.
Maybe the very legend about the name speaks about the fact that beach Mogren for centuries has intrigues the imagination of local people and was a challenge for adventurers.
Namely, Mogren got the name by the Spanish seaman Mogrini. The legend says that after the storm the ship of the Spanish adventurer got shipwrecked and he disembarked on this beach. As a gratitude note he built the church dedicated to Sveti Anton (today one can see only remains).
Probably the most favorite among young people, this swimming resort for years back has placed standards in how a beach should be arranged, and to keep all natural beauties by which people recognize it. Leaned to each other Mogren I and Mogren II are divided by a big stone rock, with a small tunnel which connects them. Turquoise sea, clean water, and fine sand make it irresistible, and entire offer, from parasols, easy chairs, and pleasant beach bars enables complete comfort to all those who choose to spend their day here.
