House owners have taken 12 millions of euros of credits which they are investing for improvement of private accommodation. In the area of Budva Rivera, according to the data of the Municipal Secretary for business and finances 20.000 beds were registered in private accommodation.
Budva – That private accommodation represents one of the most interesting offers of all kinds of accommodation in Montenegro testifies the interest of not only domestic but also of foreign guests, so the majority of Budva agencies has managed to already sell out the leased capacities that they had at house owners.
According to official statistic Montenegro has 80.000 registered beds of which 35.000 is in hotel capacities, while the rest is in private accommodation. Numerous times until now in public it was announced that the precise data about the number of beds in households on the Montenegrin coast can not be given, but it is estimated that there are between 100.000 and 150.000 beds.
Vice president of the Municipality Budva, Lazar Radjenovic, states that special attention is given to the improvement of the quality of private accommodation just before the beginning of the summer tourist season.
– That Budva this year will be most ready with that type of accommodation for the season, testifies the record that the citizens have taken 12 millions of euros of credits which they will invest to raise the level of quality in private accommodation – said Radjenovic.
In order for that kind of accommodation to be promoted as better as possible, Tourist organization of Budva has prepared a catalogue of private accommodation which was promoted on a recently ended International tourist market METUBES in Budva.
According to the words of the director of the TO Tanja Kazenegra, the catalogue was prepared in order to favorite the registered leasers of private accommodation and to present their offer in this way on fairs.
In the area of Budva Riviera, according to the data of the municipal Secretary for business and finances, 20.000 beds were registered in private accommodation. It is estimated that that number is twice as bigger, but I am hoping that all those who are in this business will recognize their interest and that through legal obligations they will report themselves in the following period. In agreement with the Secretary which has the authority we are planning to start a campaign which will educate people and explain them that the procedure of categorizing of the accommodation and acquiring of the permits in that way is much simplified – said Kazanegra.
After Budva, the catalogue will be promoted also in fairs in Berlin from 7th to 11th of March, in Moscow from 21st to 24th of March, and on the far in Ljubljana.
