Kotor – Five members of crew and skipper Nenad Franovic with most trophy sailing boat of Kotor club “Lahor” – “Mala ponta”, ten meters long was the first at international regatta Perast – Brindizi 126 nautical miles long.
Second place in overall placement won sailing boat “Aligator” of club “Gemex” from Belgrade with skipper Voja Radivojevic.
Seven sailing boats, five from Montenegro and two from Serbia started on Sunday from Perast on the regatta.
Member of crew of sailing boat “Mala ponta” Mirko Franovic said yesterday for “Vijesti” that today all boats will continue competition in much larger competition at 21st International regatta Brindizi – Corfu long 104 nautical miles.
At this, one of the oldest international regatta will compete 150 sailing boats from all Mediterranean countries.
Kotor sailors last year at regatta Brindizi – Corfu participated with sailing boat “Nika”, and skipper Franovic who is Montenegrin sailor with most trophies, and in competition of 112 sailing boats arrived at finish line of regatta for 11 hours and so beat the record of previous year.
Sailing boats of JK “Lahor”, “Nika” and “Mala ponta” at regatta Perast – Brindisi last year won first two places.
