Bar – With the adoption of the Detailed urban plan “Maljevik”, that Bar lodgment got the possibility to become and elite tourist center.
It encloses 30, 8 ha, which lay on the same named beach and Zagradje, and with the plan they have predicted 94 facilities, among others a hotel too. The facilities will have three to four stages, which will exclusively be intended for the high tourism.
To potential investors, DUP “Maljevik” imposes high demands, because the entire hotel complex has to have at least 4 stars.
-That is why through plan we have provided several various contents – the zone with luxurious villas, pools, garages and parking lots, on the peninsula with a hotel complex and a sight seeing place, as well as the zone in the hinterland with the suite facilities, which are a part of the complex. The space is imagined in that way that on the entrance from Sutomore there will be an object erected with a reception, with a high covered parking lot with 1.350 parking spaces and a parking for buses – presented to the members of the board the representative of the creators of the plan Miomir Maras from Podgorica “Montenegro-inzinjenring” (MONTENGRO ENGINEERING).
In order to provide the demanded high category of beds (from the general urban plan), Maras said that they have predicted the possibility of a small marina.
A part of the space towards the sea is predicted to be greened and in one part isolated from the beach.
We have also planned that this space occupies more than 250.000 m2 of gross of the facilities, which is a maximum surface which can be built. We will have at disposal totally 2.500 beds.
-In the plan we have left some space for corrections and some new additional contents, such as the terrain for recreation – pointed out Maras.
JOB FOR 2.500 CITIZENS
-Obviously huge investments in Maljevik will have great effect for the local community, because according to the results of the program choices of DUP, they are planning employment of about 2.500 workers – said the secretary for arrangement and planning of space, Vido Dabanovic, reminding that now the territory of Maljevik is uninhabited and non built area.
The ex president of the Municipality, Anka Vojvodic, said earlier that the economic study of that DUP shows that from the sales of the land and charging of the communal taxes for “Maljevik” “can not bring less than 40 millions of euros”.
