Minister of tourism of Montenegro Predrag Nenenzic received today in Podgorica the ambassador of the Republic of Hungary Djula Nemet and the president of the company TriGranit Sandor Demjan, whose major shareholders are, among others, Rothschild family, Canadian businessman Piter Mank, as well as the president of the OTP Bank Dr. Sandor Csanyi, which until now on the area of middle central and east Europe has invested over 3 millions of euros.
At the meeting they spoke about the possibilities of investment in new large tourist projects in Montenegro, as well as the accompanying infrastructure. This investment group introduced those present, with their seeing of investment in current Greenfield locations, whose value would range up to two billions of euros in the first phase, and stated the greatest interest for the area of Riviera of Budva and Ulcinj.
The basic concept would be the mutual investment with the state, and the construction of high quality tourist capacities, which with its contents would extend the season up to 9 months, and employ up to 10 thousand people. It is arranged that the teams of experts from both sides in the shortest possible time begin the concrete activities on creating the conditions for the start of this project. Mr. Sandor Demijan has introduced Minister with the programs which his company is carrying out at the moment, in financing of education of 1.500 young people at elite European Universities, as well as with the intention to expand this program on Montenegro.
