Podgorica – Company Beppler and Jacobson was the only one to submit the offer on a yesterday ended open competition for the purchase of the ski center “Jezerine” near Kolasin – their legal representative Branko Colovic confirmed for “Vijesti”.
Starting price for the ski center, as a part of the property of Ski center “Bjelasica” which is in bankruptcy, was 550.000 euros which was also the amount which Beppler offered. Colovic said that yesterday in the Business court the offer of Beppler was announced formally and legally correct so there are no obstacles for the transaction to be realized.
He said that the bankruptcy director of the ski center is due to inform them in a ten days period whether the offer was accepted.
Company Beppler behind which stands the businessman from Kolasin Zoran – Coco Becirovic, is the owner of hotel “Bianca” in Kolasin and “Avala” in Budva and it was the only company which submitted the offers on all 6 open competitions for the sale of the ski center “Jezerine”.
Business court has annulled every open competition with reasoning that the offer was unsatisfactory, even though Beppler last time, as it is now, was ready to pay for the ski center 550.000 euros.
After the last open competition on which minimum 1, 5 millions of euros was asked for, the ex Prime minister and president of DPS, Milo Djukanovic harshly criticized the stalling of the sale. Immediately after that the bankruptcy director has announced a ner, 6th open competition, with three times smaller staring price, and which is identical with the price (of 550.000) which Beppler earlier was ready to give. Ski center, even though it is situated on an attractive location, is characteristic for old funicular railways and equipment, great losses and debts.
If the sighing of the contract with one bidder occurs, Beppler, among other things, will get funicular railways, three ski lifts, two restaurants, two snow trudges and the land of 147, 65 thousands of square meters.
Open competition obliges the buyer to invest 3, 5 millions of euros, as they announce from Beppler modernization of the ski center, if they buy it, should be finished within a year.
In Beppler they claim that because of the stalling of the sale probably the next season in the ski center will be lost, because there is no enough time for the realization of the entire investment.
The buyer, according to the terms of the open competition, will also take over the obligation of maintaining of 9km of the road Kolasin – Jezerine for 20 years, as well as the long distance power line of 5, 5 km with the electrical power station, until it is given to the Electrical company of Montenegro. The buyer has to give 13, 62% of the stocks to smaller stock holders, as much as they now have, in a newly formed firm which will run the ski center.
Major owners of the Ski center “Bjelasica” whose part is the ski center “Jezerine”, are state funds. Of 550.000 euros as much as the bankruptcy management of “Bjelasica” will get from the sale, they will pay all their duties towards the suppliers.
