Hotelier – tourist complex “Plavnica” has a gastronomic restaurant with national cuisine with capacity of 150 seats as well as big summer terrace.
Above the restaurant part there are three luxurious suites and one presidential suite, and the complex has a salad bar “Rotonda” which has a very attractive and modern look.
Guests will have at their disposal a pool 500 square meters of surface with a big amphitheater, where numerous cultural – artistic and entertaining manifestations will be held. A marina of capacities of 100 smaller vessels was built, as well as a smaller collector for cleaning of waste waters with which all technological standards in protection of environment have been satisfied.
Podgorica – Popular Bregovic’s “Orchestra for weddings and funerals” has thrilled several thousands of gathers people who on a plateau in front of the monument to Sveti Petar Cetinjski in Podgorica celebrated the first anniversary of the Independence.
The concert was opened about 21 h by the orchestra, while Bregovic was warming up dancing in the backstage. After about 20 minutes popular Brega appeared on stage followed by a great applause of the audience, who came from all over Montenegro.
The overture of a great gig announced the handling of pieces of liturgy and of opera “Carmen with a happy end”, and after that came Bregovic’s hits, well-known to wider European audience.
In the audience one could see various generations – from nostalgic ones for “Bijelo Dugme” (ex group of Goran Bregovic, popular during the 80’s and 90’s) to children who were in front rows. After almost two hours from the beginning of the concert it started to rain in Podgorica, which failed to turn away those present.
A bit after 22 h in the capital city there was a ten minute fireworks from the building of Parliament, which even the audience on Brega’s concert was able to see.
On Plavnica, close to Podgorica, last night solemnly a tourist – hotelier complex was opened.
Congratulating the Independence day, mayor Miomir Mugosa has cut the cord ad pointed out that “Montenegro after winning its independence is more and more quickly becoming one of the most tempting tourist destinations, and its capital city more and more recognized by its modern ambience”.
– The presence of citizens I see as a honest support in carrying out of a project which was not easy to achieve – pointed out the owner of the company “Eco tours” Dragan Pejovic, who owns Plavnica.
The complex on Plavnica last night was visited by the president of ex referendum republic commission Frantisek Lipka as well as numerous other invitees from political and public life.
