On a press conference he explained that the canceling of the right for the transfer of the passengers from Serbia to other international destinations, as well as canceling of charter flights towards Greece contributed that.
– I believe that we will manage to compensate a lot of that by intensifying the traffic towards other destinations such as for example Moscow and Munich – said Bojanic.
“Montenegro airlines” will regularly fly to Belgrade, Frankfurt, Zurich, Rome, Vienna, Ljubljana, Budapest and Paris. From this season they will also start flying to Munich, and the first flight has been appointed for the 22nd of June from Tivat. It will fly on Monday and Friday on that line.
Promotional price for Munich is 98 euros without the taxes.
– In May we will start flying to Moscow and Petrograd. The intention of “Montenegro airlines” is to fly twice a week for Moscow and three times a week for Petrograd. It is planned to make this lines regular ones in order to connect Montenegro with Russian during the whole year – said the commercial director of the national air transporter. Bojanic said that at the moment they are working on establishing the line from Tivat to Nis, and that decision will be made in the next couple of days, and he also said that they are negotiating with the representatives of the Macedonian tour operators from whom they are expecting a concrete answer to their offer. Bojanic said that the loss of the market of Serbia, increase of expenses for fuel, bigger prices of airport taxes, and a “negative campaign which was led against that company” are the reasons that the last business year was one of the hard ones”.
– We have preliminary data, but until the termination of the report by the reviser I would not state the figures – concluded Bojanic.
