Podgorica – Hungarian company Hunguest hotels has bought up the open competition documentation for hotel tourist enterprise Boka from Herceg Novi – found out “Vijesti”.
Before that the firm Vektra from Podgorica did that, which as the Hungarians has took part in on the previous open competition. That open competition was nullified, because, as it was said from the open competition commission, the offers of all participants did not satisfy the criteria.
Hunguest hotel took part in on the first open competition in the summer of 2005, but then also everything failed because the first rated company from Czech republic did not pay in the money.
Hungarians have around 35% of the shares of Boka, of which Hunguest hotels has around 16,6% and to them close Forass RT from Budapest have 16,8%. Hunguest hotels have in Herceg Novi hotel enterprise two members of the board of directors, the first men of the company, Istvan Hulveli, and Radoman Bozovic from Novi Sad.
Hunguest hotels several years ago bought hotels “Topla” and “Centar”, which at that time were the property of “Boka”, and which are now renewed and united in one complex.
On a new tender for “Boka” which is closing on the 25th of April, the conditions have significantly been stricken. With that they have disabled the participation of the companies which have low profit or which do not have to do anything with tourism.
The previous tender was nullified because the first rated company was Meat investment from Amsterda, about which we knew very little.
This time participants have to be owners of at least 5 hotels with category of 4 or 5 starst in at least three states, or to prove that in the last three years they had the positive groos financial result and had the turnover of at least 100 millions of euros. If the offer is submitted by a consortium, at least two of his members have to have together 51% of the stocks, and one of these two criteria have to be fulfilled.
Huguest hotels was at that time ready to pay 10, 41 millions of euros with the investments of 30 millions for 59% of the stocks of “Boka”, “Vektra” offered 11,1 millions of euros, with the obligation of investing another 16 millions. HTE “Boka” owns three hotels on the very shore – “Plaza”, “Igalo”, and “Tamaris”, several restaurants, motels, cafés, and business spaces.
The facilties of “Boka” spread on over 100.000 square meters. Per year 17.000 guests visit them. The capacity of the hotel “Boka” is around 1.450 beds.
