Kotor – The mayor of Kotor Marija Catovic received yesterday a delegation of foreign investors in which were the members and close relatives and collaborates of descendants of Montenegrin dynasty Petrovic. In the delegation, which was led by Prince Nikola II Petrovic Njegos were also Prince Dimitrij Romanov with his wife Dorit, who is grandson of Milica Petrovic Njegos, who was married for the great Prince Petar Nikolajevic Romanov. Then there were also Aleksandro Grimaldi, close relative of the prince Albert II Grimaldi, the ruler of Monaco, as well as John G. Kennedy, the founder of the organization “Boka fund”.
In the delegation were about a dozen of investors among whom was also the representative of the Fleming bank.
Kennedy reminded that “Boka fund” thanks to some projects is present in Montenegro for more than a year. The members of the delegation have pointed out that the goal is to fit in their future investments in Montenegrin ambience, which was noted by Kennedy as extremely attractive, with a special accent on Kotor.
– Prince Nikola Petrovic, who in “Boka fund” is engaged as an architect consultant, pointed out the cultural and tourist wealth of Kotor and its architecture which, he said, is not seen just in edifices, but also in the spirit of the town – it was said from the Municipality.
Mayor Catovic said that the local authority is trying to keep Kotor, the town that is under the protection of UNESCO, from being devastated. She pointed also their efforts in valorizing the cultural wealth and the tradition of the town in tourist purposes.
Catovic also expressed the hope that the good cooperation with the representatives of the delegation will be continued.
