Podgorica – Government’s commission for control of investments n the next few days will check up whether the Russian company Moskow trust group has fulfilled the obligations from the contract about the purchase of the hotel “4 jul” in Petrovac.
Russians have the deadline until the 1st of May to open the hotel, or otherwise the contract will be broken up. That is predicted by the annex of the contract, which the Ministry of tourism several months ago signed with Moscow trust group.
“Vijesti” found out that the Russians have notifies Ministry of tourism that they have finished the investments, and they have asked for the approval of the work of the hotel.
Government’s commission for control of investments will go for a visit and will establish whether the Russians have fulfilled the obligations from the contract,, which is a condition for getting the approval and categorization of the hotel.
The deadline for opening and realization of the investment program of the hotel has been extended to Russians for several times. Moscow trust group has bought “4 jul” four years ago for 2, 6 millions of euros with the obligation of investing another 3, 6 millions of euros.
The representatives of the Moscow trust group in few public appearances have claimed that they will invest much more in the hotel that it has been planned.
The hotel has not been in function for years, except for the restaurant which from time to time received only selected guests from Russia. Among them was the former consul Vladimir Vanijev.
All of that had provoked the doubt in public that this and similar facilities whose owners are not too interested in investing, serve as a cover for money laundry.
