Podgorica – American Daily “Salt Lake Tribune” published yesterday a report about Montenegro, noting that just for a year since it got its independence it has turned from a relatively unknown into a new and exciting destination for vacation.
– Montenegro is still relatively cheap, but if you wish to visit it, it is best that you go as soon as possible – this small country has great ambitions – it is said in the most famous papers in American state of Utah.
In the article they especially describe Cetinje embassies, built in the style that reflects the state that they used to represent, and which have now been turned into an artistic and music academies.
The readers among other things are recommended the 300 kilometers long Montenegrin coast, especially Kotor bay, Old town, and fortress with the restaurants that serve fish and sea specialties and Montenegrin red wine Vranac. Perast is too among the recommended places, described as a “pocket of the clean Mediterranean”, and they also recommend two small islands in front of Perast – Gospa od Skrpjela and Sveti Djordje” sufficient just for a small monastery and several cypresses.
