Podgorica – Montenegrin government is ready to be a reliable and opened partner to company Philip Morris in is business and development in Montenegro, said yesterday Prime Minister Zeljko Sturanovic to the delegation of that multinational producer of tobacco.
Sturanovic, as it was said from the Government’s Bureau for public relations, said that he is satisfied because of the beginning of work of that company in Montenegro and thinks that its arrival represents another confirmation of stability and attractiveness of that country for important foreign investors.
He stressed a very favorable treatment for foreign businesses subjects who decide to invest their money in Montenegro, that is, their equality in rights and obligations with domestic investors.
Director of the company Philip Morris for Montenegro and Serbia Skip Bornhueter has introduced Zeljko Sturanovic with basic principles of their business which has been developed in 160 countries in the world, as well as with the project for Montenegrin market.
The branch office of that company in Montenegro, Philip Morris Montenegro, has started to work this week.
It will deal with import and distribution of products on the market of Montenegro.
