Monastery of Sveti Nikola OBOD

The monastery of Sveti Nikola (St. Nicolas) is located on Vranjina. This church dates from the period of the dynasty of Crnojevici when it was the seat of Zeta archbishopric. This monastery is also known by the fact that the work of Obod printing shop, the first printing shop in these areas began in it, and was later transferred to Cetinje.

At the end of the XVIII century the monastery was turned into a parish home, and its renewal began in 1996 with the renewal of the house of Sveti Petar Cetinjski on River Crnojevic in which he often spent winters alone, and which today has been turned into monastery sleeping quarters.
