It is located 22 kilometers away from Virpazar, on the border with Albania. This monastery is the legacy of Sveti kralj Jovan Vladimir (Saint King Jovan Vladimir) and his wife Kosara (daughter of Macedonian Emperor Samuilo) from Xi century for whom there is a legend about their tragic love. The relics of the King Vladimir were in this monastery until 1215 when they were transferred to Elbasan (Albania) where the memory of him is also widespread, just as it is the case in Montenegro. The monastery for some time was the seat of Zeta archbishopric, until the end of SVI century when it was ruined. Today this monastery is in ruins, and only the monastery tower has been renewed. In the last ten years, on every July 4th on the day of Sveti Vladimir (St. Vladimir) a cross is being taken out at the summit of the Mountain Rumija, and on the remains of the monastery Saint liturgy is being held.
