Tivat – In the Maritime – technical repair bureau “Sava Kovacevic” in Tivat, at the moment there are 6 domestic and foreign trading ships, of which 5 of them through mediating of the Kotor firm “Tola”.

This freighter of weight of 3.400 tones, bears a flag of the small state Saint Vincent and Gerandini.
Two days ago in Arsenal sailed in a big freighter barge from Italy, whose repair will last until the January, and for that time in a larger repair in Tivat there will also be and Italian ship for transport of the general cargo “Sider pollux” of weight of 8.010 tones. On a synchrony lift of Arsenal the repair of the small ship for the transport of tourists “Vesna” also began. It is 144 tones heavy, and its owner is a man from Budva, who made this deal directly with the management of the Tivat military shipbuilding.
Beside these vessels and a range of smaller interventions on several ships of the Navy of Montenegro, the most of the job is done on a few rocket boats of type “Osa I” (WASP I) of the War Navy of Egypt. Of those 5 ships almost three years ago three ships which at that time belonged to the Ministry of defense of the former Serbia and Montenegro, were sold through the mediating of the Belgrade firm “Cofis” are now repaired by the enterprise “Tola”, and two rocket boats are being repaired by the Arsenal themselves. General repair and the reconstruction of the former rocket ships 306 “Nikola Martinovic” and 307 “Josip Mazar Sosa” are in the terminating phase and those ships that are in the War Navy of Egypt have already received new official marks 651 and 653, and at the end of December they should be given to the new owner and to sail from Tivat to Alexandria.
Repair works have also progressed on a former RCH 305 “Zikica Jovanovic Spanac” who got from the Egyptians a new mark 649 and which was recently dived into the sea, while two other Egyptian war boats, former RC 304 “Stjepan Filipovic Stevo” and RC 308 “Karlo Rojc” are still at the dry dock of a synchrony lift, and after repairs and reconstruction they should be turned to the new owner at the beginning of May, next year.
