Podgorica – Teams of Montenegrin Government and of the Canadian businessman Peter Munk will look at the all aspects and details for taking over of Tivat’s Arsenal and after that they will in join forces establish the concrete modalities for the termination of that deal.
That was agreed yesterday in Podgorica by Munk and the Montenegrin Prime Minister Zeljko Sturanovic, who announced that with the soon adoption of the Master plan the area of special purpose of the sea welfare, in the Municipality, the problem will for taking over of the Arsenal will be removed. After that, as Sturanovic said, through the making of the Study of location the conditions will be created for the beginning of the works on implementation of the project, and all other issues, as he said, that is the preconditions for carrying out of the contract are in the terminating phase.
At the meeting, as it was said from the Government, it is stated that both parties are maximally dedicated to the realization of the sale contract for the Arsenal and it was said that it is an all encompassing and complex task.
Munk’s company PM securities is accordance with the sale contract, was supposed to take over Tivat’s military shipbuilding yard until the end of April, but that was postponed because Montenegrin Government are late with fulfillment of obligations which they have taken over with that document.
